Hydraulic pump - Install (A.16.A.20 - F.10.A.15)

Prior operation: Before pump installation, pre-fill pump with clea n hydraulic oil. Inspect O-ring on pump pilot for
damage and replace if necessary. Coat O-ring with a light coat of clean hydraulic oil.
1. Install the High Flow Pump in the Engine mounting
location.
2. Install the upper m ounting bolt (1) and the lower
mounting bolt (2) (not shown) into the pump
mounting flange.

3. Tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 85 Nm (63
lb ft)
4. Remove the cap from the hydraulic reservoir.

5. Connect a vacuum pump to the hydraulic reservoir.

6. Reservoir - Apply vacuum (A.10.A.22 - F.35.A.50)
Start the vacuum pump.
7. Remove the c ap from the fittingandtheplugfrom
thepressurehoseconnection.
8. Conn
ect the hose to the pressure port of the High
Flow Pum p. Tig hten the fitting.
9. Remove the c ap from the fittingandtheplugfrom
the supply hose connection.
10. Connect the hose to the suction port of the High
Flow Pum p. Tig hten the fitting.
11. Stop the vacuum pump. Disconnect the vacuum
pump from the hydraulic reservoir and install the
reservoir cap o n the reservoir filler neck.
12. Clean up any hydrau lic oil from the equ ipment and
the floor.
