11.Closetheradiatorcap.

mark.Closethecapofthereservetank.

13.IfenginehasEGRsystem,snugtightentheairbleed
plug(1)ontheEGRcoolerwhentapwateroverows
fromit.
14.Starttheengineandletitrunatlowidlespeedfor
20min.Turnonthecabheatingsystem,andsetthe
temperatureandthefanspeedtointermediatelevel.
15.Stoptheengine.Waituntiltheenginehascooled
down.Checkforleakagesfromthehosesoftheen-
ginecoolingsystem.
16.Drainwatercompletelyfromtheenginecoolingsys-
tem.Repeattheushingprocedure(stepsfrom10to
15)for2moretimes.Ifdrainedwaterisstillnotclean,
furtherrepeattheushingprocedureuntilcleanwater
isdrainedfromtheengine.
