2.20.2 Reading type
(1) Normal reading
Barcode scanning performs every time when the trigger key is pressed. It reads one bar code,
then outputs data.

(2) Multiple reading
Repeat barcode scanning while the trigger key is pressed. Reads multiple barcodes and outputs
data each time the reading is successful.

2.20.3 Reading condition
(1) Specify the type of readable bar code
You can specify the type of barcode to enable or disable reading. By setting only the bar code
that you want to read validly, you can shorten the reading time.

(2) Specifying the number of read digits
For each bar code, you can specify the minimum number of digits and the maximum number of
digits to be read. By setting the number of read digits according to the barcode to be used, the
misreading rate can be reduced.
For the minimum number of digits and the maximum number of digits, refer to “ 2.20.1 Barcode
reading specification (p. 33)”.

(3) Ch
eck Character Calculation, Check Character Output
For some barcodes, you can toggle validity / invalidation of "check character calculation".
You can also specify whether to add "check character" to the read character string. By
performing "check character" calculation, misreading rate can be reduced. Refer to "check
character" and "check character output" of “ 2.20.1 Barcode reading specification (p. 33)”.

2.20.4 Read result notification
It is a function to notify completion of barcode reading.

(1) Notification by LED
