  If nothing appears on the display of your Casio Label Maker when you press the power button, there are a few potential causes. The display contrast setting may need adjustment. Ensure the AC adapter is properly connected. Low battery power or using the wrong type of AC adapter or batteries could also be the problem, so try the correct AC adapter or a fresh set of AA-size alkaline batteries. Also, make sure that the batteries are loaded properly. In some cases, the print head may be overheating; if this is the case, wait a while and try again.

What to do if no tape comes out when I press PRINT on my Casio KL-7400?

  If no tape is coming out of your Casio Label Maker when you press PRINT, ensure that the cassette cover is completely closed. Check if the tape is used up and replace the tape cartridge if needed. Also, the tape might be jammed. If jammed, remove the tape cartridge and pull out the jammed tape, using scissors to cut off the tape you pulled out, then load the tape cartridge back into the printer. Low battery power can also cause this, so try using the AC adapter or a fresh set of batteries.
