Dust and Moisture
Though the tablet is dust and water splash resistant, its options including
the battery pack are not. Keep loose metal objects and containers lled with
liquid away from your tablet and the options. Also, never handle the tablet
and the options while your hands are wet.

Interference with the Operation of Other Equipment

Keep your tablet at least 22 centimeters (8

a pacemaker. Radio waves emitted by the tablet can affect the operation of
a pacemaker.
Before the use in aircraft, be sure to consult with cabin crew for interference
the tablet emits.
Before the use in medical facility, be sure to consult with the facility
management or the manufacture of a speci c medical equipment that the
tablet may interfere with.
Do not use the tablet nearby gas pump or chemical tank or any other places
ammable or explosive.

Foreign Objects
Take care to ensure that metals or combustible objects are not inserted into
the openings of the tablet or its options, and not to allow moisture to get
inside of them.
Do not attach aluminum stickers or other objects made using metal to the
back of the V-T500. Doing so could cause the tablet to overheat or catch re,
resulting in damage and burns or other injuries.
Take care not to trap foreign objects between the V-T500 and the Ethernet
Cradle. Doing so could cause the tablet to overheat or catch re, resulting in
burns.
