THE FIRST USE OF THE COFFEE MACHINE ES 910
When using the coee machine for the rst time, or if you have not used it for along time,
you must ush the internal circuit of the coee machine, the steam jet and the hot water
dispensing jets. This will help remove dirt and thoroughly heat the brew head and both jets.
Make sure that:
– The coee machine is correctly assembled and no parts are damaged.
– Water is in the tank and the lid is closed.
– The hopper is lled with coee beans and the lid is in place.
– The drip tray is empty and the grid is correctly tted on the tray.
FLUSHING THE BREW HEAD
1. Insert the strainer without ground coee into the handle.
2. Plug the power cord into the power socket and switch on the coee machine by pressing
the button.
3. Wait until the coee machine is heated to operating temperature.
4. Place abowl or larger mug under the handle.
5. Press the button repeatedly and select the type of espresso. The “ITALIAN” indicator
lamp lights up.
6. Press the button and the coee process starts, but only hot water will ow out as there
is no ground coee in the strainer.
7. Wait until the water stops owing.
8. Remove the handle and the strainer from the handle. Rinse under warm water and wipe
dry.
WARNING!
EMPTY THE CONTENTS OF THE BOWL
AS NEEDED. BE CAREFUL AS THE WATER IS
VERY HOT.
