11.4 Lubricating guides/spindles for brush arrangements
1. Hardened axles + spherical bushing: 4 on horizontal brush arrangements and 2 on vertical brush
arrangements: Lubricate with spray grease every 3 months or after 500 operating hours. We suggest
using a spray with grease of the type: NKL Molycote chain grease. Alternatively lubricate with oil.
2. Spindles: 4 on horizontal brush arrangements and 2 on vertical brush arrangements: Lubricate with
spray grease every 3 months or after 500 operating hours. We suggest using a spray with grease of
the type: NKL Molycote chain grease. Alternatively lubricate with oil.
There is free choice between oil manufacturers. Do not mix synthetic oil and mineral oil. Choice of
unmarketable oil may lead to fire, corrosion or insufficient maintenance of the unit with subsequent reduced
life.
