25.7. Menu 8 - Gate Lock
A solenoid strike lock or magnetic lock can be connected to the control card,
allowing the gate to be locked when closed, open or both.
25.7.1. Lock Enable Status
Turns the lock functionality ON or OFF.
25.7.2. Lock Type
Allows selection of either a solenoid strike lock, or a magnetic lock.
A solenoid strike unlocks when power is applied, while a magnetic lock unlocks
when power is removed.
25.7.3. Release time
SetstheTime-period(inseconds)forwhichthelockremainsreleasedafterthe
gate has started moving:
25.7.3.1. Pre-Release Time:
SetstheTime-period(in0.1secondincrements)forwhichthelockreleases
BEFOREthegatehasstartedmoving.Thisisusefulincaseswherepremature
gate movement prevents the lock from releasing
25.7.3.2. Lock location:
Specieswhetherthegateislockedwhileclosed,openorboth
25.7.3.2. Lock drive:
SpecieswhetherthelockistobepoweredbyanACorDCvoltage
Selecting AC will power the lock with a 50Hz square wave
