Chapter 12. Audio Input
Audio input can be used on QuickQ consoles for simple sound to light control, setting the BPM
of chases in time with music. Audio is input to the console via the 3.5mm jack socket on the
rear labelled “Audio In”.
To enable sound to light for a chase, open the chases playback window by either holding or
double tapping on the corresponding playback legend above the playback fader. From here,
access the chase options via the menu button (top right of the display).
In the chase options window enable sound to light for this chase. Set the “Energy” option to
look for specific audio frequencies. If this option is left as Energy, it will use the entire
frequency spectrum.
