Configuring the Remote Management Interface
The factory default IP address and subnet for the remote interface is
0.0.0.0:0.0.0.0. These values will be entered if the system is reset to factory
defaults.
You can configure the remote management interface directly by using this
procedure, or automatically by using DHCP. See “Configuring an Interface
using DHCP” on page 3-5. The default priority for the remote management
interface defaults to 7 and is not configurable.
Note: The local and remote management interfaces cannot be configured
to the same IP subnet.
