Troubleshooting
At a Glance:
This section provides information that will help solve problems that may occur with LE-3xx
SCS/SDS and LE-4xx SCS devices. For information on troubleshooting specific appliances, refer
to their respective user manuals.
LED POST Error Conditions
The following table indicates the possible error codes and their meanings that could be returned
following a Power On Self Test (POST).

OFF/OFF/OFF Boot up failure. Flash is corrupted or
cannot be accessed.
Unit is unable to boot,
LEDs are in default
state.
ON/OFF/1 blink Boot loader checksum failed. Flash is
corrupted or cannot be accessed.
Unit will reboot
ON/OFF/2 blinks CPU RAM data lines. CPU RAM cannot be
accessed.
Unit will reboot
ON/OFF/3 blinks CPU RAM address lines. CPU RAM cannot be
accessed.
Unit will reboot
ON/OFF/4 blinks CPU RAM byte enable lines. CPU RAM
cannot be accessed.
Unit will reboot
ON/OFF/5 blinks CPU RAM march test. CPU RAM cannot be
accessed.
