On a DIN Rail
The DIN-mount kit (part number CMPCT-DIN-MNT=) is optional. You can order it when you order your
switch, or you can order it later from your Cisco representative.
The DIN-mount kit contains:
• Two number-10 Phillips pan-head screws
• DIN rail mount
To install the switch on a DIN rail, follow the instructions described in these sections:
Attaching the DIN-Mount Tray to the Switch
Step 1 Place the switch on the DIN rail mount.
