increasedsafetyinnormaldriving,but
shouldnotencouragethedrivertotake
extrarisksordriveathighspeed.
The correct operation of these
systemsdependsonobservationof
themanufacturer'srecommendations
regardingthewheels(tyresandrims),
thebrakingcomponents,theelectronic
componentsandtheassemblyand
repairproceduresusedbyCITROËN
dealers.
Afteranimpact,havethesystem
checkedbyaCITROËNdealerora
qualifiedworkshop.
Deactivation
Inexceptionalconditions(startingavehicle
whichisboggeddown,stuckinsnow,onsoft
ground...),itmaybeadvisabletodeactivatethe
DSCandTRCsystems,sothatthewheelscan
spinfreelyandregaingrip.
Operating fault
However,itisrecommendedthatthese
systemsbereactivatedassoonaspossible.
