thelongitudinalcentrelineofthevehicleona
horizontalplaneanddirectedfromtheoutside
towardstheinsideofthevehicle.
Thelateralairbaginflatesbetweenthehipand
shoulderofthefrontoccupantofthevehicle
andthecorrespondingdoortrimpanel.
Systemwhichprotectsthedriverandfront
passengerintheeventofaserioussideimpact
inordertolimittheriskofinjurytothechest,
betweenthehipandtheshoulder.
