Dependingonthedrivingsituationandyour
vehicle'sequipment,thesystemmayadvise
youtochangegear.
Thegearengagementrecommendationsmust
notbeconsideredcompulsory.Infact,the
configurationoftheroad,theamountoftraffic
andsafetyremaindeterminingfactorswhen
choosingthebestgear.Therefore,thedriver
remainsresponsiblefordecidingwhetherornot
tofollowtheadvicegivenbythesystem.
Thisfunctioncannotbedeactivated.
Theinformationappearsinthe
instrumentpanelintheformofan
arrow.
Thesystemadaptsitsgearchange
recommendationaccordingtothe
drivingconditions(slope,load,...)and
thedemandsofthedriver(power,
acceleration,braking,...).
Thesystemneversuggests:
- engagingfirstgear,
- engagingreversegear.
WithanETGelectronicgearbox,the
systemisonlyactiveinmanualmode.
WiththePureTech82engine,the
systemonlysuggestswhento
changeup.
