Certainwarninglampsmaycomeonin
oneoftwomodes:fixed(continuous)or
flashing.
Onlybyrelatingthetypeofillumination
to the operation of the vehicle can it
bedeterminedwhetherthesituationis
normalorafaulthasoccurred.
Refertothetablesinthefollowing
pagesformoreinformation.
Visualindicatorsinformingthedriverthatasystemisinoperationorisswitchedoff(indicatorlamp)orhasafault(warninglamp).
When the ignition is switched on
Certainwarninglampscomeonforafew
secondsintheinstrumentpanelwhenthe
vehicle'signitionisswitchedon.
When the engine is started, these same
warning lamps should go off.
Iftheyremainon,beforemovingoff,refertothe
informationonthewarninglampconcerned.
Associated warnings
Theilluminationofcertainwarninglampsmay
beaccompaniedbyanaudiblesignal.
Thewarninglampsmaycomeoncontinuously
(fixed)orflash.
Warning lamps
STOP flashing,associated
withanotherwarning
lamp.
Itisassociatedwiththeengine
oilpressureortheenginecoolant
temperature.
Stopassoonasitissafetodoso.
Park,switchofftheignitionandcallaCITROËN
dealerorqualifiedworkshop.
Whentheengineisrunningorthevehicleisbeingdriven,illuminationofoneofthefollowingwarninglampsindicatesafaultwhichrequiresactionon
thepartofthedriver.
Anyfaultresultingintheilluminationofawarninglampmustbeinvestigatedfurther.
