Certainwarninglampsmaycomeonin
oneoftwomodes:fixed(continuous)or
flashing.
Onlybyrelatingthetypeofillumination
to the operation of the vehicle can it
bedeterminedwhetherthesituationis
normalorafaulthasoccurred.
Refertothetablesinthefollowing
pagesformoreinformation.
Visualindicatorsinformingthedriverthatasystemisinoperationorisswitchedoff(indicatorlamp)orhasafault(warninglamp).
When the ignition is switched on
Certainwarninglampscomeonforafew
secondsintheinstrumentpanelwhenthe
vehicle'signitionisswitchedon.
When the engine is started, these same
warning lamps should go off.
Iftheyremainon,beforemovingoff,refertothe
informationonthewarninglampconcerned.
Associated warnings
Theilluminationofcertainwarninglampsmay
beaccompaniedbyanaudiblesignal.
Thewarninglampsmaycomeoncontinuously
(fixed)orflash.
Warning lamps
STOP flashing,associated
withanotherwarning
lamp.
Itisassociatedwiththeengine
oilpressureortheenginecoolant
temperature.
Stopassoonasitissafetodoso.
Park,switchofftheignitionandcallaCITROËN
dealerorqualifiedworkshop.
Whentheengineisrunningorthevehicleisbeingdriven,illuminationofoneofthefollowingwarninglampsindicatesafaultwhichrequiresactionon
thepartofthedriver.
Anyfaultresultingintheilluminationofawarninglampmustbeinvestigatedfurther.
