Electricalenergyeconomymode*
Systemwhichmanagesthedurationofuseofcertainfunctionstoconserveasufficientlevelof
chargeinthebattery.
Aftertheenginehasstopped,youcanstillusefunctionssuchastheaudiosystem,windscreen
wipers,dippedbeamheadlamps,courtesylamps,etc.foramaximumcombineddurationof
twentyminutes.
Thisperiodmaybegreatlyreducedifthebatteryisnotfullycharged.
Lettheenginerunfortheduration
specifiedtoensurethatthebattery
chargeissufficient.
Donotrepeatedlyandcontinuously
restarttheengineinordertochargethe
battery.
Aflatbatterypreventstheenginefrom
starting.
Refertothe"Battery"section.
Switching to economy mode
Oncethistimehaselapsedtheactivefunctions
areputonstandby.
Exiting economy mode
Thesefunctionsarereactivatedautomatically
nexttimethevehicleisdriven.
To restore the use of these functions
immediately,starttheengineandletitrunforat
least5minutes.
*Onlyonvehicleswiththe"KeylessEntryand
Starting"system.
