immobiliseyourvehicle.
Whenthevehicleisbeingdriven,if
theparkingbrakeisstillonorhas
notbeenfullyreleased,thiswarning
lampcomesonaccompaniedbyan
audiblesignal.
Releasing
F Pulltheparkingbrakeleverupgently,
press the release button then lower the
leverfully.

Engaging reverse
gear
F Presstheclutchpedalfullydown.
F Pushthegearleverfullytotherightthen
backwards.
Onlyengagereversegearwhenthe
vehicleisstationarywiththeengineatidle.
Whenparkingonaslope,directyour
wheelsagainstthekerb,applythe
parkingbrake,switchofftheignition
andengageagear(vehiclesfittedwith
amanualgearbox).
