Fingerprint Reader Module
The fingerprint reader module provides a high level of security for your computer.
Make sure you have administrator’s rights to your computer, and have a Windows
password enabled for full security protection.
The fingerprint reader and Protector Suite Software allow you to:
• Access or Lock your computer
• Protect sensitive files
• Display and file your favorite web pages
• Fill in frequently used dialogs
• Run your favorite applications
Fingerprint Reader Driver Installation
1. Insert the Device Drivers & Utilities + User’s Manual disc into the DVD
drive.
2. Click Option Drivers.
3. Click 2.Install FingerPrint Driver > Yes.
4. Click Next > Next > Next.
5. Click Finish > Yes to restart the computer.
6. After installing the driver you will need to install Microsoft.net Frame-
work (V3.5 or higher) before running the Protector Suite application. You
can go to the Microsoft website, search for the file, download it and then
install it, or alternatively you can enable Microsoft.net Framework from
the control panel by following the procedure overleaf.

Password Warning
If you set passwords for
any of the security mod-
ules, NEVER forget your
password.
The consequences of
this could be serious. If
you cannot remember
your boot password you
must contact your ven-
dor and you may lose all
of the information on
your hard disk.
