Description
The setpoint is used to select the method how the IP Address is adjusted.
If IP Address Mode (page 289) is FIXED this setpoint is used to adjust the IP address of the ethernet interface
of the controller. Ask your IT specialist for help with this setting.
If IP Address Mode (page 289) is AUTOMATIC this setpoint is inactive. The IP address is assigned by the
DHCP server.

Description
The setpoint is used to select the method how the Gateway IP is adjusted.
If IP Address Mode (page 289) is DISABLE this setpoint is used to adjust the IP address of the gateway of
the network segment where the controller is connected.
If IP Address Mode (page 289) is ENABLED this setpoint is used to display the gateway IP address which
has been assigned by the DHCP server.
A gateway is a device which connects the respective segment with the other segments and/or Internet.
