3.1 Overview
3.1.1 Monitor Introduction
The N-series monitors are used for monitoring vital sign parameters such as electrocardiogram (ECG),
respiration (RESP), oxygen saturation (SpO
2
), non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), invasive blood pressure
(IBP), carbon dioxide (CO
2
), and body temperature (TEMP). This product is used for monitoring the vital signs
of patients.
3.1.2 System Composition
N-series monitor system consists of main unit, accessories and system software. The main unit, which serves as
the heart of the entire system, primarily implements the following tasks:
System power supply
Measurement of physiological parameters
Display
Sound, light and text triple alarms
User controls and inputs
External communications and expansion interface
Printing and recording
Connection to central monitoring system
