1.2 Contraindication
● Using electrodes on skin that is irritated or ulcerated is prohibited.
● Using this instrument on those who are allergic to the conductive media of the electrode is
prohibited.
● Using blood pressure cuffs on patients who have localized skin injury on their upper arm is
prohibited.
● Holding the oxygen saturation probe still for an extended period is prohibited.
● Using the cuff on patients who are allergic to the rubber material is prohibited.
● Performing NIBP measurements on patients with sickle cell disease is prohibited.
