Possible causes of the symptoms:
● Incorrect SPO

value and chaotic waveform
■ This symptom can also be caused by the object’s hypothermia, poor perfusion, shock, or the use of
vasoactive drugs, in addition to the previously mentioned causes.
● Typically, a defective SPO
2
plate that produces no waveform data shows up as follows:
■ There is no lighting in the SPO2 probe light tube.
■ The probe tube lights up, but when a finger is inserted, the light flashes continuously.
