Possible causes of the symptoms:
Incorrect SPO

value and chaotic waveform
This symptom can also be caused by the object’s hypothermia, poor perfusion, shock, or the use of
vasoactive drugs, in addition to the previously mentioned causes.
Typically, a defective SPO
2
plate that produces no waveform data shows up as follows:
There is no lighting in the SPO2 probe light tube.
The probe tube lights up, but when a finger is inserted, the light flashes continuously.
