Cab Assembly
To assemble the cab, proceed as follows:
1) Ensure the handrail is bolted to the control wall.
2) Assemble the cab starting with the control wall first; then the side walls, the slam posts,
the opposite wall and finally the car door headers.
3) Install all the 1/4” x 20 hardware loose until the cab is plumb and square.
4) Carefully position the cab ceiling feeding the wiring harness as you move it into the car
top junction box and loosely install all the hardware.
5) Install the two (2) ceiling mounting angles with 3/8” hardware.
6) Ensure the cab entrance frame is plumb and square to the landing entrance. Tighten the
hardware starting with the 3/8” ceiling mounting angles, the 1/4” hardware in all four
corners, then the rest of the hardware top, bottom and sides.
7) Next, all the electrical wires should be hooked up as labelled; the plank switch, car top
junction box, photo eyes, car top prop (if equipped), and the cab lights.
