Explanation:
Lost
communication.
The system has
recognised a
unit/module but
lost contact.
System
modules
CS-Loop M
One module address
has been changed to
the same address as
another module on the
same backbone (a
secondary fault
appears).
Check address of the
modules. (Refer to the
S&M** manual.)

Minor fault if
redundant system
and only one module
in the redundant
function.
•
Major fault if
redundant system
and one or more
modules in the
redundant function.
•
Major fault if one or
more modules in a
non-redundant
system.
Defect module.
Replace the module. (Refer
to the I&C* manual.)
Replacement module
has a wrong firmware
version.
Update firmware in
CS-LoopM. (Refer to the
S&M** manual.)
Defect firmware.
Memory fault internal
FLASH.
1. Try to reset the fault.
2. If not possible to reset
try to update firmware
again.(Might demand for
system reboot.)
3. Contact an authorised
service office.
Unexpected program
flow in firmware.
Implementation defect
or soft error (cosmic
radiation).
Cable break, short
circuit or wrong
electrical connection
of the internal
communication bus
(SSP).
Locate the cable break, short
circuit or check the electrical
connections.
(Refer to the I&C* manual.)
(In combination with
fault 217).
Overvoltage Backbone
Bus (BB) channel 1.
Could be a PSU fault.
1. Measure the voltage
from the power source
•
If voltage OK,
change module.
•
If voltage NOT OK,
change or adjust the
DC/DC acc. to data
sheet for the PSU.
2. Contact an authorised
service office.
(In combination with
fault 218).
Overvoltage Backbone
Bus (BB) channel 2.
Water ingression or
condensation.
Check that the fire detection
system enclosure has been
installed in a location that
satisfies the environmental
requirements.
