INTERNAL
FAULT
CM 4.3
The connection
between the main
processor and the
processor handling the
keyboard input has
been lost.
Contact an authorised
service office.
Major fault.
Charger M
The module is leaking
power. The supply and
consumption differ
greatly.
CS-Loop M
CS-Safety M
CS-Com M
Loop units
Internal fault on Safe
I/O.
Fault detected by the
loop-unit itself when
performing a periodic
BIST.
189
HIGH
RESISTANCE
CS-Loop M
Too high loop-line
resistance.
Fault reported when
the loop-line
resistance exceeds 150
Ohm.
1. Measure that no part of
the loop-line exceeds the
allowed resistance in
worst-case, i.e. when the
loop is disconnected on
the A- and B-side of the
CS-Loop M.
2. If not possible to solve
the problem, contact an
authorised service office.
Major fault.
190
LOW
VOLTAGE
CS-PYH
CS-MCP
CS-IC10
CS-IC22
CS-Isolator
To low voltage fault
on the loop-line.
Fault reported when
the measured loop-line
voltage drops below
23 VDC.
1. Check the connection
between the loop unit
and the power supply.
2. If not possible to solve
the problem, contact an
authorised service office.
Major fault.
CS-PH Ex
CS-MCP Ex
CS-IC10 Ex
To low voltage fault
on the Ex loop-line.
1. Check the connection
between the loop unit
and the CS-Isolator.
2. If not possible to solve
the problem, contact an
authorised service office.
191
SSPBUS
FAULT
CS-Safety M
CS-Com M
The module has
stopped answering on
the SSPbus.
1. Check the electrical
connections according to
the application drawings.
2. Replace the module.
(Refer to the I&C*
manual.)
3. Contact an authorised
service office.
Major fault.
