Rc is the estimated value of the compression strength
I is the measured rebound index
∆f is the translation gathered with experimental tests.
For the calculation of the final estimate of the compressive strength several
correction factors can be consider, that take into account the shape of the sample.
The age of the concrete being tested is a further correction coefficient that takes into
account other aspects, such as the humidity, freely interpretable by the user of the
instrument.
