3.2.3.1 USER menu
As alternative to the two Standard methods, the system allows creating a customized test
procedure, setting the following parameters:

CALCULATION:
selection of the type of calculation (MEDIAN, MEAN, MEAN W/O OUTLIERS e.g.
discarding non meaningfull values):

• MEDIAN: the final result of the test is calculated as the median value considering all
the readings belonging to this set of measures
• MEAN: the final result of the test is calculated as the average value considering all
the reading belonging to this set
• MEAN W/O OUTLIERS: the final result of the test is calculated as the average
value considering all the reading belonging to this set, discarding non-significant
values, according to the criterion given by the EN 12504-2 standard (6 units).
NUMBER OF READINGS:
Allows setting the number of rebounds of the customized test set that will be considered
for the calculation method above selected.
