4.2 SERVICE menu
This menu provides functions useful to assess the performance of the instrument.

4.2.1 HAMMER CHECK menu
Allows checking whether the speed of the stroke is within the expected limits..

After each stroke, to be carried out in vertical position (-90° indicated by the tilt sensor)
possibly using a calibration anvil, the display shows the result as follows:
• NORMAL, if the speed is in the expected range (from 90 to 110% of the reference
speed stored during calibration)
• SLOW, speed lower than the expected range (lower than 90% of the reference speed)
• FAST, speed higher than the expected range (higher than 110% of the reference
speed).
When the speed is outside the expected range, the difference in percentage with respect to
the expected range will be shown.
Refer to the CONTROLS service department in case anomalous results are obtained.
