3.2.2.3 AGE FACTOR Menu
The AGE FACTOR is a multiplicative factor that the instrument uses for the calculation
of the strength. It is originally set to 1 and takes into account the age of the concrete.
The following table suggests the reference values for this coefficient obtained
experimentally; these values are anyway not binding.
Età (fino a giorni)
Age (up to days)
7 50 100 200 400 800
Fattore di età
Time factor
1.2 1 0.94 0.87 0.79 0.7
If possible, these values should be verified and calculated for each specific type of
concrete by means of a campaign of rebound and destructive (compression) tests on
samples properly taken.
The current value can be changed or reset directly to the default value (1.0).

• EDIT: it allows entering a coefficient
• SET = 1 : to reset the factor to 1.
