► Taking out of service and disposal
Requirements
Before taking the appliance out of service, check the following points:
The appliance is de-energized.
The gas supply is shut off.
The water supply is shut off.
Requirements to be met by personnel
The job of taking the appliance out of service must only be entrusted to service engineers from an
approved customer service office.
Only qualified electricians are permitted to perform work on electrical equipment.
Taking out of service
To take your combi steamer out of service, perform the installation steps in the reverse order.
The following tasks must be performed correctly:
Disconnecting the water supply from the appliance
Removing the drain connection from the appliance
Disconnecting or isolating the electrical supply.
Removing the door catch
plus for OGS/OGB appliances:
Disconnecting the gas supply from the appliance
Disconnecting the gas flue system if applicable
Disposal
The combi steamer must not be disposed of with the household refuse, as bulk waste or in contraven-
tion of regulations.
Contact the manufacturer for guidance on environmentally safe disposal of your combi steamer. The
manufacturer is certified to the ISO 14001:2004 environmental management standard and will dispose
of your old appliance in accordance with valid environmental protection regulations.
