Allowthecoolingfluidtocompletely drainfromtherightradiator.Movethebiketoacompletely
verticalorientationtoallowtheradiatortodraincompletely.
Next,draintheleftradiator .Placeadrainpanunderneaththeleftradiator.Removetheelectricalplug
fromthetemperaturesensor,unscrewthetemperat ure
sensor,andallowthecoolingfluidtodrainfrom
theradiator.Immediatelywipeanyspilledcoolingfluidfromthemotorcycle.
Notethatthetemperaturesensorhasarubbergaskettoforma
sealbetweenitandtheradiator.
Takecarenottodamagethissealwhenremovingand
reinstallingthesensor.
Atthispoint,allcoolingfluidshouldhavedrainedfromthemotorcycle.
Reinstallthecoolingfluiddrainplug (justbeneaththewaterpump)andthetemperaturesensor.
Addoneliterofnewcoolingfluidtotheradiator.Useafunneltopreventspillingcoolingfluidonthe
engine,andagain,
immediatelywipeupanyspilledcoolingfluid.
Asyouareaddingcoolingfluid,youwillnoticethattheradiatorwillnottaketheentireliterofcooling
fluid.That’sbecausethecoolingfluidneedstoflowtotheotherradiator,thehoses,andtheengine.
