Engine Cooling Fan
Inspect the engine cooling fan
• Engine cooling fan
• Air shroud1
• Air shroud2
Look for cracks or damage, if
necessary, replace.
1. Install In the following order.
• Air Shroud 1
• Engine cooling fan
• Air Shroud 2
2. Torque to Shroud bolts to 10 Nm
or 7 ft lbs.
3. Torque fan to 7 Nm or 5 ft lbs
4. Note: Be sure to include O-ring and
backing plate between cooling fan
and fan hub.
Install the air shroud (1)
Note:
Install the engine cooling fan air
duct assembly with the arrow mark
(a) towards the air shroud (1).
