3. Install the brake caliper pistons(1)
Installing the Front Brake calipers
1. Install
• Brake caliper assembly
• Brake caliper mounting bolts
48Nm (4.8m · kg,35 ft · lb)
• Brake hose(1)
• Copper Washers(2)
• Union bolt(3)
Note:
When installing the brake hose be sure
that the brake fitting touches the stop
(a) on the brake caliper.
2. Fill the brake fluid reservoir
Must use DOT3 Brake Fluid
3. Bleed the air out of the brake
system.
4. Add brake fluid to above the
minimum level indicated on the
reservoir.
Caution:
Brake fluid will damage painted
surfaces and plastic parts. Always
clean up spills immediately.
