Checking the fuel pump operation
1.
Remove the seat bottom and
cover
2.
Disconnect the pressure
feed fuel hose.
3.
Connect a fuel pressure
gauge.
4.
Turn the ignition switch to the run
position. Do not start the engine.
5.
Fuel Pressure should read 42-
45 PSI
6.
Turn the key to the off position.
7.
Attach the fuel line back to its
original position.
8.
Install the cover and seat bottom.
