Maintenance and Adjustment of the UV
Changing the engine oil
1.
Place the vehicle on a level surface.
2.
Start the engine and let it warm up for
several minutes.
3.
Stop the engine and place an oil pan
under the engine.
4.
Remove the seat bottom and engine
access panel.
5.
Remove:
•
Engine oil filler plug
(dipstick)①
•
Engine oil drain bolt ② and
drain the engine oil from the
crankcase.
6.
It is always recommended to change
the oil filter when doing an oil change.
•
Remove the oil filter①
With an oil filter wrench ②.
•
Lubricate the O-ring ③of the new Oil
Filter with a thin coat of clean engine
oil.
•
Hand tighten on the new oil filter.
•
Install engine oil drain bolt.(1)
•
Fill to the proper level on the dipstick.
Oil Quantity
The oil capacity after the engine has
been disassembled and reassembled
1.9L
The oil capacity for an oil and filter
change is 2.3L
•
Install the dipstick.
•
Warm the engine up for a few
minutes, and then stop the engine.
•
Check:
•
Engine for oil leaks
•
Oil level on dipstick
