♦ Protocol
This is the protocol used by the Hub for out-of-band (dial-up)
management.
♦ System Restart Out-of-Band Baud Rate
This sets the baud rate (cps)
on the Hub.
♦ Out-of-Band Dial Up Phone Number
Administrator can place num-
ber here for reference.
Module Port (Slots 1&2) Configuration
When slots 1 or 2 are occupied by either a DFE-260FX Fiber Optic Module
(shown on the graphic representation of the hub as SwFx) or a DFE-260TX
Fast Ethernet Module (SwTp), clicking on the words SwFx or SwTp causes
the following configuration screen to be shown.
Information displayed includes:
♦ Port Type
This item shows either
Sw-Tx
for a Fast Ethernet module
or
Sw-Fiber
for the Fiber Optic module.
♦ Link Status
Indicates link status: online and running (
link up
) or not

link down
).
♦ Speed
Indicates the port speed:
100Mbps
or
10Mbps
