MAC Filter
Outgoing Default
Action:
Select whether to Deny or Allow frames to ow out of the WAN
interface. The default setting is Allow.
Incoming Default
Action:
Select whether to Deny or Allow frames to flow into the WAN
interface. The default setting is Allow.
DEFAULT POLICY
CURRENT MAC FILTER TABLE
The current list of MAC lters are displayed here. To delete a lter, select it from the list and
click Delete. To delete all the lters, click Delete All.
Direction: Select whether this rule will apply to Outgoing or Incoming trac.
Action: Select whether to Deny or Allow frames.
ADD FILTER
To create a rule, ll out the following parameters.
Source MAC: Enter the source MAC address to lter.
Destination Mac: Enter the destination MAC address.
You may create a rule to apply to either a Source MAC address, Destination MAC address,
or both. Broadcast MAC addresses may not be ltered.
When you are satised with your MAC Filtering rule, click ADD.
The MAC lter is used to restrict or allow certain types of Ethernet Frames
through the gateway based on their source or destination MAC address. These
lters are helpful in securing or restricting trac on your local network.
