Installing The Discharge Air Diffuser
1. Adhere eld-provided 1/2" foam seal to the face of the
cabinet around the perimeter of the discharge air opening
(Figure 48).
2. Insert the diffuser into the wall opening and align the frame
with the foam seal.
Note: To avoid bending the adjustable discharge louvers do
not press on them.
3. Push the diffuser frame in until it compresses against the
foam seal and the room side frame is ush against the
drywall. Be sure the diffuser frame is level and plumb and
secure it with the two (2) screws provided.
Note: When installed correctly the diffuser frame should seal
to the cabinet discharge air opening and no discharge
air will be lost between the unit and the wall cavity.
