Setting Exposure Time
Camera must be operating in exposure mode 2 or 6.
To set the camera exposure time, use the command:
Floating point number in µsecs.
To read the current exposure time, use the command gcp.
If you enter an invalid exposure time, the valid range of
values will be displayed.
3.10 Setting a Region of Interest
The roi command sets the pixel range used to collect the end of line statistic and sets the
region of pixels used in the cag, cao, gl, gla, ccf, and ccp commands.
To define a region of interest, use the command:
Pixel start number. Must be an odd number and less
than the pixel end number.
Pixel end number. Must be an even number and greater
than the pixel start number.
cag, cao, gl, gla, ccf, ccp
3.11 Returning Video Information
The camera’s m icrocontroller has the ability to read video d ata. This functionality can be
used to verify camera operation and to perform basic testing without having to connect
the camera to a frame grabber. This information is also used for collecting line statistics
for calibrating the camera.
