How to Install
" Final Set-Up and Test
To test the set-up and ensure that the frequency converter is running, follow these steps.
Step 1. Locate the motor name plate.
NB!:
The motor is either star- (Y) or delta-
connected (∆). This information is locate d
on the motor name plate data.
Step 2. Enter the motor name pl ate data
in this para meter list.
To access this list first press the [QUICK MEN U]
key then select “Q2 Quick Setup”.

Step 3. Activate the Automatic Motor Adaptation (AMA)
Performing an AMA w ill ensure optimum performance. The AMA me asure s the values
from the motor model equivalent diagram.
1. Connect terminal 37 to termi nal 12 (FC 302).
2. Connect terminal 27 to terminal 12 or set par. 5-1 2 to ’No function’ (par. 5-12 [0])
3. Activate the AMA par. 1-29.
4. Choose betwee n complete or reduced AMA . If an LC filter is mounted, run only the reduced
AMA, or remove the LC filter during the AMA procedure.
5. Pressthe[OK]key. Thedisplayshows“Press[Handon]tostart”.
6. Press the [Hand on] key. A progress bar indicates if the AMA is in progress.
