" Avoid Unintend ed Start
While FC 300 is connected to mains, the motor can be started/stoppe d u sing d igit al commands,
bus commands, references or via the Local Control Panel (LCP).

• An electronic fault, temporary overload, a fault in the mains supply, or lost motor connection
may cause a stopp ed motor to start. FC 300 with Safe St op (i.e. FC301 in A1 enclosure
and FC302) provides a certain degree of protection against such unintended start, if the
Safe Stop Term inal 37 is on low voltage level or dis connected.
