3.8.1 Buttons
The BUTTONS Applet allows assigning desired applications to be launched by one
of the function keys (F1, F2, F3, F4).
You can also select to wake up the terminal by the SCAN key and trigger key (for
Datalogic Kyman-GUN™ only).

On a Windows Mobile unit the user is also able to assign a shortcut to a function key.
The default programs/shortcut assigned to the function keys on Windows Mobile are
the following:
F1 : select the Left Soft Key
F2 : open the Start Menu
F3 : open the Today Screen
F4 : select the Right Soft Key
To configure the way up/down and the rest of keys control repeats, use the Up/Down
Control applet (Start -> Settings -> Personal -> Buttons -> Up/Down Control).
