3. SAFETY
3.1. Safety provisions
3.1.1. Emergency stop
Pressing this emergency stop gives a stop command to the machine. The message ‘E5’ appears on
the display. The emergency stop must only be used in emergencies. Normally, the machine will end
its cycle on its own by working through the internal and entered external parameters.
3.2. Safety symbols and markings on the product
Following signs warn the operator for possible dangers because of mechanical or electrical
components.

Figure 5 shows a sticker attached to the machine to indicate
that electricity is present.

3.3. Personal protective equipment
Figure 6 shows a sticker indicating that the user must wear
protective gloves while servicing the machine and working
with sharp parts.
