About this task
The following images indicate the location of the hard-drive fan assembly and provide a visual representation of the installation
procedure.
Steps
1. Align the tabs on the hard-drive fan assembly with the slots on the chassis.
2. Place the hard-drive fan assembly into the slot in the chassis.
3. Install the two (M3) screws to secure the fan assembly to the chassis.
4. Route the SATA power-cable, thermal-sensor cable, PCIe cable and fan-controller cable through the bottom air-shroud
cover.
5. Close the lid of the bottom air-shroud cover.
6. Connect the SATA power-cable, thermal-sensor cable, PCIe cable and fan-controller cable to the connectors on the system
board.
