Hyper-Threading Disabled, Enabled Enabled for Windows XP and Linux (OS optimized for Hyper-
Threading Technology) and Disabled for other OS (OS not
optimized for Hyper-Threading Technology).
Active Processor Cores All, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 Number of cores to enable in each processor package.
Intel (VMX) Virtualization
Technology
Disabled, Enabled When enabled, a VMM can utilize the additional hardware
capabilities provided by Virtualization Technology.
Intel Trusted Execution
Technology
Disabled, Enabled Enables utilization of additional hardware capabilities provided
by Intel Trusted Execution Technology.
Intel(R) SpeedStep(tm) Disabled, Enabled Allows more than two frequency ranges to be supported.
Intel(R) Speed Shift
Technology
Disabled, Enabled Enable/disable Intel Speed Shift Technology support. Enabling
will expose the CPPC v2 interface to allow for hardware-
controlled P-states.
Turbo Mode Disabled, Enabled Enable/disable processor Turbo Mode (requires Intel Speed
Step or Intel Speed Shift to be available and enabled).
C states Disabled, Enabled Enable/disable CPU Power Management. Allows CPU to go to
C states when it is not 100% utilized.
