Cleaning
Discs

Do not wipe with a circular
motion.
Gently wipe the disc from the
inside towards the outside.
oIf there are fingerprints or dirt
on
a disc, wipe them
off
before uSing
the disc.
oUse a commercially available disc cleaning set or a soft cloth to
clean discs.

lending

discs
are
prohibited.

Do not use record spray, antistatic agents, benzene, thinner or other
solvents.
How
to Handle Media
oDo not get fingerprints, oil or dirt on discs.
o
Take
special care not to scratch discs when removing them from
their cases.
oDo not bend or heat discs.
oDo not enlarge the hole in the center.
oDo not write on the labeled (printed) surface with ball-point pens,
pencils, etc., or stick new labels on discs.
oCondensation may form on discs if they are moved suddenly from
a cold place (outdoors for examplel to a
warm
place, but do not try
to dry discs
with
a hairdryer, etc.
oDo not eject a
SO
Memory Card or turn
off
the
DBP-A
100 while a
card
is
being played. This may result in malfunction or loss of the
card's data.
oDo not attempt to open or modify
SD
Memory
Cards.
o
SO
Memory Cards
and
files can be damaged by static electricity.
Do not touch the metal contacts
of
an
SO
Memory Card with your
fingers.
o
Do
not use warped
SD
Memory Cards.
oAfter use, be sure to remove any disc or
SD
Memory Card, and store
it in its proper card case, to avoid dust. scratches and deformation.
oDo not store discs
in
the following places:
1.Places exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of
time
2.Dusty or humid places
3.Places exposed to heat from heaters, etc.

oInsert
an
SD
Memory Card in the
direction
of
the arrow into the
SO
CARD
slot with the label facing up.
olnsert the card straight into the
SO
CARD
slot until it clicks.
o
To
remove the card, push
it
in
and then
release
to
eject.
oDo not push the disc tray
in
by hand when the power
is
off.
Doing so could damage the set.
oSet the disc in the tray label side up.
oMake sure the disc tray
is
fully open when inserting the disc.
oPlace the disc horizontally
in
the tray, aligned with the tray guide.
If a disc that cannot be played
is
loaded or the disc
is
loaded up-
sidedown, "NO DISC"
is
displayed on the player's display.
About Media

I Cautions on Using Media

a
oOnly load one disc
at
a time. Loading
two
or more discs can damage
the unit or scratch the discs.
oDo not use cracked or warped discs or discs that have been repaired
with adhesive, etc.
oDo not use discs on which the sticky part
of
cellophane tape or
labels
is
exposed or on which there are traces
of
where labels have
been removed. Such discs can get caught inside the player and
damage
it
oDo not use discs
in
special shapes,
as
they may damage the
player.
