Control
Functions
When you make HOMI connections with a
TV
or
AV
Amp compatible
with
OBP-A
100 and HOMI control functions,
you
can
perform the
following operations by setting
up
the HOMI control functions of
each
device.
o
TV
or AV Amp power
is
turned
on
by
operating the
DBP-A100 and functions change with DBP-A100
input.
o Turning off the TV's power turns the DBP-A100's
power
to
standby.
o Operating the DBP-A100 via the TV's remote
control.
(When the TV's remote control has player operation buttons)

The
HOMI control function controls operations of a
TV
that
is
compatible with the HOMI control function. Make sure that the
TV
and
HOM
I
are
connected when you perform HOMI control.
oSome functions may not operate depending on the connected
TV
or
AV
Amp. Check the owner's manual of
each
device for details
beforehand.
oWhen "Other Setup" - "Power Saving"
on
the
GUI
menu
is
set
to "Power Saving Standby" or "Normal Standby"
(~page
31).
the player's power cannot be turned
on
using the HOMI control
function.
oWhen "HOMI Setup" - "HOMI Control" - "Power Off Control" on the
GUI
menu
is
set to
"Off"

the
OBP-A
100 does not go
to standby
even
if the connected device
is
in
the standby mode.
oWhen "OENON LINK Setup" - "OENON
LINK
Mode"
on
the
GUI
menu
is
set to "4th", the HOMI control function
is
enabled for the
connected devices.

Set the HDMI control function to "On".
On
the
GUI
menu, set "HOMI Setup" - "HOMI Control"

3 if any of the equipment was unplugged.

ensure that the
DBP-AIOO's
HDMI video output is
projected on the TV screen, change the input function
ofthe
TV
and
AV
Amp.

When you turn the TV's power to standby, check that
the power
of
the
DBP-AIOO
and
AV
Amp also goes on
standby.
If the HOMI control function does not operate properly, check the
following points.

oAre the HOMI control function settings
of
all
equipment correct?

oAfter setting, did you add another HOMI device connection or make
any changes
in
the connections? If

make the settings again.
