3.4 Stopping
3.4.1 Engines with Mechanical
Shutdown
● Move speed control lever 1 to low idle.
● Operate shutdown lever 2 until the engine
comes to a stop. The charge pilot light and the
oil pressure pilot light will come on when the
engine stops.
● Turn key counterclockwise (to Position 0) and
remove. The pilot lights will go out.
3.4.2 Engines with Electrical
Shutdown
● Turn key counterclockwise (to Position 0) and
remove. The pilot lights will go out.

Where possible, do not switch the engine off from
full load. Leave running in idle for approx. 2
minutes.
