z Close fuel stopcock.
z Undo fuel filter cartridge with commercial tool
and spin off.
z Catch any fuel.
z Clean any dirt from the filter carrier rim.
z Apply light film of oil or diesel fuel to the rubber
gasket of the new DEUTZ original fuel filter
cartridge.
z Screw in the new cartridge finger tight
against the gasket.
z Check that the cartridge is seated correctly
against the gasket and tighten with a final
half-turn.
z Open fuel stopcock.
z Check for leaks.
6.2.1 Replace Fuel Filter
Keep naked flames away
when working on the fuel
system. Do not smoke!
The fuel system does not
need to be bled.
